ZIGGY CHEN - FW22 ILLUSAITS

Layering is the name of the game for this seasons collection. Dubbed as Illusaits, the collection is a crasis of illusion and portraits, telling us a reality filtered by a dreamlike state of consciousness. The dichotomy, dear to the designer, investigates dream and reality, fantasy and objective world, rational and irrational, post (present) and future. The fleetingness of dream reflects in the continuously fluctuating graphics of contiguous waves, to have wearers sense like crossing a lucid dream.

ZiggyChen continues to push the limits of creating two-piece garments, an element which he introduced for his previous FW collection named Sugardens. The two-pieces garments feature details on the front and backside and hidden details unfold when opening pockets. The collection is full of these hidden details.

Furthermore asymmetry, deconstruction and graphical prints, paired with a new frame collaboration with eyewear artisan Rigards finish this collection of as our top 2 favorite collections from FW22.
