Terms of service
These Online Terms and Conditions of Trading ("terms") apply to all contracts between You/your ("the Customer") and we/us/our ("LUCENTEMENT").
These terms relate to sales over the Internet only. We reserve the right to alter these terms at any time and without notice to you. Nothing within these terms and conditions shall affect you/your the buyer’s statutory rights as a consumer.
The products offered follow current Dutch legislation and regulations. Customers from other countries should request advice on importing from their local authorities.
All prices and payments are in Euros.
For EU customers:
The retail price for the customers is including 21% VAT, excluding shipment. As per 1 July 2021, new EU regulations apply. This means that taxes will be calculated according to the location of you, the customer.
For non-EU customers:
The retail price for the customers is excluding 21% VAT, excluding worldwide shipment.
LUCENTEMENT.COM reserves the right to amend its prices at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
IMPORTANT: If you are located outside EU, 0% VAT will be charged. Be aware that local customs may charge taxes and import duties.
These are not the responsibility of lucentement.com. If such extra charges are applicable, they must be borne by the customer. He / she handles the filing of all necessary returns. He / she makes all necessary payments to the relevant authorities.
Certain products may be available exclusively online through the website. These products may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit or cancel the orders and sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer.
Shipment fee will be determined depending on the customer’s location.
Packages sent may be viable to taxes, duties and import fees. These fees are at the sole responsibility of the customer. Please consult your local customs agency for more information. If applicable, you will be required to pay such fees upon receiving your order. If these payments are not met on delivery, the item does not clear customs or if the item is not withdrawn for any reason, the item will be sent back to LUCENTEMENT or destroyed, depending on local laws return fees and import taxes will be deducted from the clients.
RETURN POLICYWe have a 14-day return policy. Any unsatisfactory items must be shipped within 14 days of receipt at your own expense. To be eligible for a return, you have to meet the following criteria:
- Return an order within 14 days of receipt of your order at your own expense
- You must include the receipt or proof of purchase.
- The return must be requested within 14 days of receipt
- The item must be in its original, unused, unworn and unwashed condition
- The item must be returned with the original tags and packaging.
DAMAGES / ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom tailored products (such as Collaboration items, Made-to-order or personalized items), Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process depending on the payment provider.
LUCENTEMENT reserves the right to reject any returning products that do not comply with the above-stated return policy. Rejected items will be sent back to the original shipping address.
To start a return, please contact us at email@example.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
You can always contact us for any return question at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If in any case a production error is found, the customer must send written statement to the customer care: email@example.com within 14 days after receiving the item. A clear picture of the front, side, top and bottom view must be included in the statement.
LUCENTEMENT cannot be held liable for damage to items that are not caused by productions errors.
The buyer is entitled to reimbursement of the value of the product when a product is proven to contain production errors. The value will be reimbursed as credit for our online shop. Monetary reimbursements are not to be made. LUCENTEMENT are not liable for damage caused by the client's failure to provide correct information for reimbursement within 14 days after receiving the item.
A claim will in any case lapse if LUCENTEMENT have not been written notified of the claim in within one year of the discovery of an event or circumstance that gives or may give rise to liability.
