KOLOR - FALL WINTER 2023
At the dome of Oscar Niemeyer, Kolor presented their 23FW collection. The iconic venue, once the headquarters of the French Communist Party, was a perfect backdrop for the creative and innovative designs of the brand. The audience was in for a treat as they got to see the latest creations of the brand.
Like Sudoku, the show was filled with puzzles that could be solved. The designer, Junichi Abe, presented his skill in transforming the normal into the unusual, highlighting the boredom of daily life through asymmetrical fashion designs, which stood out from the typical shabby styles seen at other fashion shows.
In this collection, the highlight was the suit jacket that had the canvas part of its inside work lifted from the outside. This style was further emphasized with the double cuffs or rolled sleeves, and the lower forearm that covered the second sleeve. The design was a common feature in the Kolor's design palette, making it stand out from the rest of the designs in the show.
Kolor's 23FW collection demonstrated the brand's commitment to innovation and creativity. The collection showcased the brand's philosophy of making clothes that are not only beautiful but also functional. The designs were a perfect blend of the past and the future, making it a must-see show for fashion enthusiasts.
