TAAKK's Spring-Summer 2025 collection, "Yo-fuku," reimagines the intersection of Japanese and Western aesthetics. Designer Takuya Morikawa draws inspiration from Japan's historical blending of Western influences, presenting a collection that is both innovative and deeply rooted in tradition.

Central to this collection is the innovative use of fabrics. TAAKK showcases gradient woven fabrics that transition smoothly from fine cotton to seasonal summer wool and linens. A standout piece features a translucent cotton shirt that transforms into a wool tailored jacket. Another highlight is a linen jacket that merges into cotton broadcloth, combining the elements of a jacket and shirt into one harmonious piece.

‘’Yo-Fuku’’ also redefines embroidery. Moving away from traditional additive processes, Morikawa employs the same fabrics, meticulously cut into precise pieces, to create sculptural designs inspired by classical European decoration. Additionally, a three-dimensional transparency is achieved through a unique weave, combining plant and chemical fibers, resulting in a dynamic and realistic motif.
