RAINS has set itself an interesting challenge; in the world of functional wear, one still wants to express individuality - and within that functional world full of puffers and functional fabrics, how can we create interesting silhouettes? Time to break boundaries and create conversation in the world of RAINS.
Technology, as we are used to at RAINS, makes up the main character of the brand. This is converged through camera techniques, music, and of course, the looks. Padded puffers take up the spotlight within this collection, and are used in unconventional ways; obviously as outer-layer-like coats, but also as long gloves, long skirts, and headwear.
As the name gives off, RAINS fundamentally wants to create waterproof garments, and puffers are known to contradict this. To prevent this Vinter has exclaimed her precision with the use of seams, as result, the collection still embraces the brand fundamentals whilst exploring more fabrics and new, yet evolving silhouettes.
