LEON EMANUEL BLANCK - AW2021 SPILLED

LEON EMANUEL BLANCK - AW2021 SPILLED

An interesting fact to start with, is that this collection was shot in front of all Leon's patterns in his studio in Berlin. These patterns are known as very complex and time-consuming. No pattern is the same and so are the designs of this collection.

The collection is based around the ERSATZ series of artworks created by LEON EMANUEL BLANCK in 2019 about the artificiality of our lives.

To get an impression of the collection, we made a selection of the lookbook photos. If you scroll further down, you'll find exclusive content shot for Lucentement.

LOOKBOOK

Exotic materials and treatments were aspects that Leon invested a lot of time in for this collection. This goes from glass coated down coats with colourways reminiscent of leaking oil to multilayered silks that reflects on blurry views of open eyes underwater.

Hand painted wild python and alligator jackets stand against transparent polyeutherane parkas playing with the idea of natural versus synthetic.

Latex coated baby camel wools, waxed corduroy blazers and distressed horse and lama skins emphasize the idea of perished animals through contamination.
