ANN DEMEULEMEESTER AW24

ANN DEMEULEMEESTER Ready-To-Wear AW24

In search to continue the legacy of the characteristic design of Ann, the brand's new designer, Stefano Gallici, is exploring his vision within the brand's legacy. Let's talk about Ann Demeulemeester.

The past few years have been quite rowdy for the brand, and their search for a designer that can communicate the romance, edged elegance, and distinctive color use that we love from Ann continues. Gallici shows that he is toning down the progressiveness that we acutely saw in the '23 collection; which in our idea fits the brand identity a lot better.

The collection has some unique pieces, the fur-shouldered long coats are the biggest head-turner. But more classical looks like the drape suits and silk dresses carry the legacy of the brand. The show does not provide us with many new pieces, but it serves as a piece for Gallici to understand the brand in a more substantial way.
