Rains runway SS24 - DRENCHED

Rains' Spring-Summer 2024 collection was showcased at Paris Fashion Week against the backdrop of pouring rain outside. The collection is centred around the technical and coated fabrics, particularly its functional proficiency in crafting waterproof clothing.

Head designer Tanne Vinter curated a range of outerwear pieces, including hooded raincoats, oversized ponchos, laser-cut long coats, and triple-layered jackets and capes. The color palette spanned from satin blue and pure red to light forest green and an icy spectrum. The show also included thin tops for women paired with mini shorts, adding a touch of sensuality to the collection.

Models were attired in hooded raincoats, accompanied by slender ropes trailing from their garments—an artistic touch that symbolized the constant presence of rain. The overall atmosphere in the warehouse was reflective of Rains' commitment to blending functionality with contemporary design.
