AIREI SS24 WINDHORSE
AIREI SS24 WINDHORSE
AIREI latest Spring Summer 24 collection, named WINDHORSE, took place outdoors, in the courtyard of 3537, where a unique atmosphere was crafted. The seating arrangement formed a circle, with a magnificent altar-like statue at its center, constructed from linen sheets fashioned into flags. As the show commenced, models marched around the statue, engaging in a prayer-like procession. This immersive experience evoked a sense of participation in a ritual ceremony, creating an intimate ambiance.
Artisanal approach
Within the collection itself, AIREI showcased their commitment to craftsmanship, incorporating various elements such as hand embroidery, batik printing, hand stitching, and reconstruction techniques. Remaining faithful to their distinctive color palette of black and white, the brand demonstrated their ability to harmonize these hues in a manner that accentuated their designs. AIREI adeptness in playing with constructions and contrasting stitching became evident, as Creative Director Drew Curry seamlessly merged these elements into their silhouettes. Notably, oversized jackets and blazers were skillfully tailored to narrow around the waist, resulting in interesting proportions that caught our eyes.
Raising the bar
Additionally, AIREI continues to make a statement with their approach to men's skirts. Subtle yet impactful, these skirts struck the perfect balance, providing a distinctive touch to any ensemble without overpowering it. The brand's visionary designs serve as a prime example of how men's skirts can be tastefully incorporated into contemporary fashion.
AIREI SS24 WINDHORSE showcased a fusion of artistry, spirituality, and craftsmanship.
